STROLL THROUGH “VIEUX PARIS”
BETWEEN ARRONDISSEMENTS AND NEIGHBOURHOODS WITH EUGENE ATGET
Photographer Eugène Atget takes us on a stroll around “Vieux Paris”. We’re on the hunt for wine merchants, bars, cabarets, cafés and restaurants, like this wine shop, where wines and liqueurs jostle firewood and sacks of coal (above).
You have three choices. You can travel from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, starting in the 12th arrondissement and following the recommended route of our guided tour, or you can choose your starting point by clicking on one of the eighteen arrondissements below. You can also “pick and mix” your favourite photos in our complete gallery. The photos in the gallery are displayed in the same order as those of the exhibition, but without maps, scenography or commentary.
